LADIES MINISTRY Catered Dinner/ Cookie Exchange: Sunday November 15th @ 6:00 @ church. Cost is $10.00 Please bring about 4 dozen (one full recipe) of your favorite Christmas cookies (or any cookies) along with the recipe to share and an extra container to tote your cookies home in! Please sign-up in foyer. We need to have money and a full head count by Sunday, Nov. 8th. Retreat: February 26th-28th @ Litchfield Beach Resort. Please sign-up in the foyer. Cost is $80.00. I am collecting deposits right now. Please make checks payable to Erica Penny. If the money is an issue, please see me. Thanks.
NOMINATIONS FOR DEACONS AND ELDERS According to the Church Constitution the elder board is accepting nominations for the office of Deacon and office of Elder please refer to the qualifications for these offices in making your nomination and contact the person you are nominating. All nominations must be made in writing by December 1st.
BAPTISM We are currently planning a baptismal service if you are a believer and have never followed the Lord in the ordinance of water baptism please contact Pastor Jim or one of the Elders.
CHURCH MEMBERSHIP If you have been attending Covenant Church for awhile and God has directed you to join this body of believers in service and worship please contact Pastor Jim or one of the Elders.
PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING We will be having our annual Praise & Thanksgiving Service on Friday, November 20th @ 6:30.
PRESCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING Thursday Dec. 3rd @ 6:00 PM @ Cerisa’s house.
LIVING NATIVITY Will be Dec. 4-5 We will try to work on the set every Saturday @ 9:00 am. Make plans on coming out and being part of this ministry, you will be blessed.
CHURCH ROAD TRIP To Mike’s Farm Saturday Dec. 12th, we will be meeting at 12:30 here at the church and all go together. If you are interested please sign up in the foyer. We will be eating a early dinner at the farm and then hayride around the farm to see the Christmas lights. Cost: See sign up sheet. |
