PASTOR APPRECIATION October is a time set aside to let your Pastors know how much you appreciate them. God has called both Pastor Jim and Pastor Phil to be servants of His & to see the body of Christ grow. Let them know how much you appreciate them with a word of encouragement. LIFE CHAIN Today October 4th we as a church will be taking part in Life Chain. Abortion is against everything that God teaches. So make plans and be a voice for the ones that have no choice. LADIES MINISTRY On October 18th at Thunder Alley in Leland, the cost is $8.00 includes pizza, drinks, bowling & shoes! ***Also, please check the back of the church for various sign up sheets. Even if you can’t make most of the meetings this year, we’d love to involve you in various ministries we offer. Thanks1 Any questions see Erica Penny. LIVING NATIVITY Will be Dec. 4-6 We will try to work on the set every Saturday @ 9:00 am. Make plans on coming out and being part of this ministry, you will be blessed. MEN’S FISHING Covenant’s 1st annual Fisher’s of Men Fishing Tournament : Sunday, October 25th cost is $10.00 Sign up in foyer. FALL FESTIVAL We will be having a festival Oct. 31st here at the church. We want to offer the kids an alternative to Halloween. We will have games, prizes, food and lots of fun. There will be a costume contest but please no scary costumes, There is plenty of things for our kids to be (let’s be creative) there will be costume judging & prizes for the best & most creative. We are asking that everyone please start bringing in individual wrapped candy for our goodie bags. And if you would like to help or donate items please sign up in the foyer.
SUNDAY SCHOOL BIBLE STUDY UPDATE Our adult bible study began “The Truth Project” “An In-Depth Christian Worldview Experience” Make plans to come and join the bible study on Sunday at 9:45 am
